Privacy
Last updated: October 2026. This is a small personal website. This page explains in plain language what it stores and who sees it.
What stays in your browser
Most tools (notes, tasks, flashcards, homework, timers, graph plotter, converter, dictionary lists, blackboard, tutor chats and the shopping wishlist) save their data in your browser's local storage on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere for these unless you sign in (see below). Clearing your browser data removes it. PDF and image tools run entirely in your browser: your files are not uploaded.
If you create an account
- We store your username, a hashed password (never the password itself), an optional email, and the data you choose to sync (the tool data listed above).
- A secure cookie keeps you signed in for 30 days. It is used only for this.
- Synced data is stored on the website's server and is not encrypted at rest, so do not store secrets in your notes.
- Your email is used only to send the price alerts you set up. You can remove it, switch alerts off, or delete your account at any time on the account page, which deletes your server data.
- There is no password-reset email. If you forget your password, use the contact form.
AI features
When you use the AI search, AI tutor, AI writing tools, flashcard or worksheet maker, blackboard handwriting conversion, or "image to text", the text or picture you submit is sent through this website's server to AI services (Groq, Google and Mistral) to produce the answer. Do not submit passwords, ID numbers or other private details. AI answers can be wrong, so check anything important.
Other services the pages talk to
- Shopping: product searches go to a price data provider (SerpApi) and are shown with prices from Google Shopping listings.
- Converter: exchange rates come from the European Central Bank via frankfurter.dev.
- Dictionary: definitions from dictionaryapi.dev and related words from Datamuse. Your searched word is sent to them.
Contact form
Messages you send (and the name or email you choose to add) are stored on the server so the site owner can read them. Nothing is shared with anyone else.
What we do not do
There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics. The server keeps short-lived technical records (such as request counts per IP address) for about two days, only to stop abuse.
